As we celebrate the remarkable milestone of Evolution Traffic Management’s 20th anniversary, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for being part of this incredible journey. Over the past two decades, Evolution has transformed from a budding company into a leader in the traffic management industry, setting standards of excellence and innovation.

I began my career at Evolution as a Class 2 driver, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth by upskilling myself to become a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Over the years, I have progressed through various roles, culminating in my current position as the Auckland Depot Branch Manager. My dedication and hard work have been recognized with the Best Auckland STMS award twice. My career at Evolution has been marked by continuous improvement, effective leadership, and a steadfast commitment to the company’s values.

Our journey began 20 years ago with a vision to provide unparalleled traffic management services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in every project we undertake. From humble beginnings, we have grown exponentially, thanks to the dedication, hard work, and passion of our exceptional team. Each milestone we’ve achieved is a testament to our collective effort and commitment to our core values.

Throughout our history, we have accomplished numerous milestones:

Expanded our services and capabilities, continually adapting to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the industry.

Developed a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and excellence in all our endeavors.

At Evolution, our commitment to excellence is unwavering. We have set high standards for planning, scheduling, and deploying resources to meet Traffic Management Plan (TMP) requirements. Our focus on reducing non-recoverable and unbillable costs, while ensuring over 85% efficiency in people and fleet utilization, has set us apart as industry leaders.

Safety, quality, and service are the cornerstones of our success. We have consistently ensured 100% compliance in paperwork and onsite TMP performance, achieving target audit scores and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. Our proactive approach to health and safety, combined with regular site visits and corrective actions, has fostered a culture of safety that permeates every aspect of our work.

As we celebrate this significant anniversary, it is important to look ahead to the future. Our journey is far from over, and the road ahead promises even greater opportunities and challenges. With our dedicated team, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to our values, I am confident that Evolution Traffic Management will continue to thrive and set new benchmarks in the industry.

“In an industry where complaints are all too common, I wanted to highlight the excellent job and Evolution traffic controller is doing north of in Injune (90 km north of Roma) on Queensland’s Carnavron Highway. During a long weekend trip, I drove through a work site and was very impressed with the site setup and the cheerful traffic controller on duty. The traffic controller was happy, smiling and waving to all motorists while keeping everyone informed about the reasons for the delays.”
